The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एते कदम्बकुलकुन्दसुगन्धिवाता लिम्पन्ति मांसलतया मकरन्दवृष्टेः ।
घ्राणं घनैः परिमलैरलिजालनीला व्यालोड्य मेघपटलैः खमिवाभ्रकायाः ॥ ५३ ॥

ete kadambakulakundasugandhivātā limpanti māṃsalatayā makarandavṛṣṭeḥ |
ghrāṇaṃ ghanaiḥ parimalairalijālanīlā vyāloḍya meghapaṭalaiḥ khamivābhrakāyāḥ || 53 ||

Methinks the goddess Flora has chosen for her abode, the blooming flowers in the forests; limpid waters in the marshy grounds, and in villages abounding in fruitful trees, and flourishing fields.
