The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इतः स कैलासगिरिर्गरीयसा प्रभाप्रवाहेण मितेन यस्य खम् ।
शंभोरिवाभाति सुतस्य कुट्टिमं चन्द्रोऽपि च क्षीरसमुद्रगो यथा ॥ ५० ॥

itaḥ sa kailāsagirirgarīyasā prabhāpravāheṇa mitena yasya kham |
śaṃbhorivābhāti sutasya kuṭṭimaṃ candro'pi ca kṣīrasamudrago yathā || 50 ||

There is the Kailasa mountain on the north, vying with firmament in its brightness; below it there is the hermitage of Skanda, and the moon shines in her brilliance above.
