The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रभाततूर्यमुखरैर्दिवसैरिव तर्जिता ।
ह्रद्येव स्फुटिता नारी निलीना दयितोरसि ॥ ३६ ॥

prabhātatūryamukharairdivasairiva tarjitā |
hradyeva sphuṭitā nārī nilīnā dayitorasi || 36 ||

Struck with fear by the alarm, given by the sounding bell at day break; the loving consort leans on the bosom of her lover, as the darkness lingers in the enclosed room.
