The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नवरसासवसारनिशागमक्षयभयातुरचित्ततयाङ्गना ।
त्यजति कान्तमियं न मनागपि द्रुतमितो वलितेव पुरोऽहिभिः ॥ ३५ ॥

navarasāsavasāraniśāgamakṣayabhayāturacittatayāṅganā |
tyajati kāntamiyaṃ na manāgapi drutamito valiteva puro'hibhiḥ || 35 ||

See how these newly loving lasses, are clinging round the bodies of their mates, for fear of darkness of the approaching night; in the manner of timid snakes twining about the trunk of sandal wood trees.
