The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.114.27

चूतनीपकदम्बाढ्यगन्धमादनकन्दरान् ।
विशन्ति मेघहरिणास्तडित्तरललोचनाः ॥ २७ ॥

cūtanīpakadambāḍhyagandhamādanakandarān |
viśanti meghahariṇāstaḍittaralalocanāḥ || 27 ||

Here is the Mount Gandhamadana, full of mango and kadamba trees; and there the fragments of clouds, are seen to enter into its caves like stags, with their eyes flashing as lightnings.
