The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

निर्ह्रादकारिभिर्वातैर्वहच्छपछपारवम् ।
प्रसस्रुर्भुवि नीहारा महार्णवरया इव ॥ २४ ॥

nirhrādakāribhirvātairvahacchapachapāravam |
prasasrurbhuvi nīhārā mahārṇavarayā iva || 24 ||

The howling winds, raised a clapping and flapping sound all about; and there fell showers of snow also, which flowed on earth, like the waters of the sea.
