The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आसारसाराः पङ्काम्बुप्लुताः सघनघुंघुमाः ।
आसन्दशदिशोऽदृश्या बहुक्षुब्धायुधानिलैः ॥ २३ ॥

āsārasārāḥ paṅkāmbuplutāḥ saghanaghuṃghumāḥ |
āsandaśadiśo'dṛśyā bahukṣubdhāyudhānilaiḥ || 23 ||

The dirty waters of the deep, rose on high with a gurgling noise; and the sky was invisible owing to the clouds of weapons, which obscured its face on all sides.
