द्यौरिवर्क्षभरैरासीत्तदासारं भुवस्तलम् ।
विवर्तमानैरभितः कचद्भिर्ज्वलनायुधैः ॥ १२ ॥

dyaurivarkṣabharairāsīttadāsāraṃ bhuvastalam |
vivartamānairabhitaḥ kacadbhirjvalanāyudhaiḥ || 12 ||

The surface of the land was converted to the face of the sky; by the broken fragments of weapons glistering on like the stars of heaven twinkling in myriads above.
