The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सर्वदिक्कमसंख्यानि बलानि बलशालिनाम् ।
भूभृतां विद्रवन्त्याशु विनेशुर्मशकौघवत् ॥ ४८ ॥

sarvadikkamasaṃkhyāni balāni balaśālinām |
bhūbhṛtāṃ vidravantyāśu vineśurmaśakaughavat || 48 ||

The armies of the invading chiefs, fled in confusion from all the four sides of the field; and the flying forces fell in numbers like swarms of ants and troops of gnats and flies.
