The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विद्युद्वलयविस्तारकारिसंघट्टघर्षणैः ।
शरशक्तिगदाप्रासभिन्दिपालादिवर्षणैः ॥ ४७ ॥

vidyudvalayavistārakārisaṃghaṭṭagharṣaṇaiḥ |
śaraśaktigadāprāsabhindipālādivarṣaṇaiḥ || 47 ||

The forky lightnings were playing, by the friction and clashing of the clouds; and showers of arrows and missiles fell profusely from them, with the thunder bolts of maces, and darts of spears.
