The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उह्यमानवृहद्दन्तिदन्तद्रुमविघट्टनैः ।
स्फूर्जच्चटचटारावतर्जितोद्गर्जिताम्बुदः ॥ ३४ ॥

uhyamānavṛhaddantidantadrumavighaṭṭanaiḥ |
sphūrjaccaṭacaṭārāvatarjitodgarjitāmbudaḥ || 34 ||

Large elephants rolled upon the ground with their elevated tusks rising as trees; and roared aloud with their crackling sounds, vying with thunder claps and roaring clouds.
