The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.111.13

तरत्तरलमातङ्गतुरङ्गौघतरङ्गकम् ।
हेत्यम्भसि कचत्पापमुद्यद्गुलुगुलोदरम् ॥ १३ ॥

tarattaralamātaṅgaturaṅgaughataraṅgakam |
hetyambhasi kacatpāpamudyadgulugulodaram || 13 ||

The moving elephants and sweeping horses, seemed as the huge surges and swelling waves of the sea; and the dark Dravidian barbarians gabbled, like the gurgling bubbles of sea waters.
