The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.110.30

दिनं दिनकरस्येव नृपस्य शरणं गतम् ।
अनागतभटव्रातपिष्टार्धमृतमानवम् ॥ ३० ॥

dinaṃ dinakarasyeva nṛpasya śaraṇaṃ gatam |
anāgatabhaṭavrātapiṣṭārdhamṛtamānavam || 30 ||

In some place the unprotected as well as the uninvaded people, being downtrodden and half dead in their mutual scuffle; fled to and fell at the feet of their king, as the daytime takes its shelter under the shining sun.
