The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अग्निदाहमहातापप्रतपत्पर्णकाननम् ।
लोलालातलताशलमुसलोपलपूर्णखम् ॥ ४ ॥

agnidāhamahātāpapratapatparṇakānanam |
lolālātalatāśalamusalopalapūrṇakham || 4 ||

The burning fire of the incendiaries, set to flame the leaves of the forest trees; and the fire brands of burning wood, were falling as loosely all around, as the iron sleets of arrow breast were hurling through the air.
