The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इति कर्तुमहं देव विज्ञप्तिं स्वामिनेरितः ।
तस्मान्मण्डलसीमान्तगुल्माद्युद्धाय गच्छता ॥ ४५ ॥

iti kartumahaṃ deva vijñaptiṃ svāmineritaḥ |
tasmānmaṇḍalasīmāntagulmādyuddhāya gacchatā || 45 ||

It is for this purpose, that I have come to report these things to my lord, so that you will deign to proceed in battle array to the borders, and drive these insurgents as weeds from the skirts.
