The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पुरुषा मण्डलस्यास्य विपुला दललीलया ।
स्थितान्यरिबलान्युच्चैश्चतुर्दिक्कं नरेश्वर ॥ ३५ ॥

puruṣā maṇḍalasyāsya vipulā dalalīlayā |
sthitānyaribalānyuccaiścaturdikkaṃ nareśvara || 35 ||

O sovereign of men, the hostile armies of your enemies, likening the shaking leaves of trees, have all beset in great numbers, the skirts of your kingdom, on all its four sides.
