The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.108.34

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अथ तस्मिन्वदत्येवमार्तिमत्याजिविक्षते ।
सहसैवाभ्युवाचेदं प्रविश्य पुरुषोऽपरः ॥ ३४ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
atha tasminvadatyevamārtimatyājivikṣate |
sahasaivābhyuvācedaṃ praviśya puruṣo'paraḥ || 34 ||

Vasishtha continued:—As the yet alive and wounded chieftain, had been telling his painful story in this manner to the king; there appeared on a sudden another person entering the palace after him, and speaking to the king in the following manner.
