The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तस्मिन्मृते समागम्य यावद्वारुणदिक्पतिः ।
बलेनायाति ककुभौ ते समादातुमादृतः ॥ १८ ॥

tasminmṛte samāgamya yāvadvāruṇadikpatiḥ |
balenāyāti kakubhau te samādātumādṛtaḥ || 18 ||

Upon his death as the chieftain of the west, proceeded with his army to wrest those provinces.
