The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मर्यादापालने युक्ता अकम्पनबलाधिकाः ।
मन्त्रिष्वप्यस्य चत्वारो दिक्षु सत्सागरा इव ॥ १२ ॥

maryādāpālane yuktā akampanabalādhikāḥ |
mantriṣvapyasya catvāro dikṣu satsāgarā iva || 12 ||

His vast and unflinching forces, were employed in the protection of the four boundaries of his realm; as the four seas serve to gird the earth on all its four sides.
