The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देशाद्देशान्तरप्राप्तौ मध्यदेशे चितेर्वपुः ।
यत्तन्मयमिदं दृश्यं कुतो द्वैतैक्यविभ्रमः ॥ ६१ ॥

deśāddeśāntaraprāptau madhyadeśe citervapuḥ |
yattanmayamidaṃ dṛśyaṃ kuto dvaitaikyavibhramaḥ || 61 ||

As a man passing from one place to another, rests calmly in the interim; such is the state of the mind in the interval of its thoughts, when it sees neither the one nor another thing.
