The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अकारणकमेवेदं व्योम व्योम्नानुभूयते ।
जगदित्येव शून्याङ्गं चिन्मात्रात्म चिदात्मनि ॥ ५५ ॥

akāraṇakamevedaṃ vyoma vyomnānubhūyate |
jagadityeva śūnyāṅgaṃ cinmātrātma cidātmani || 55 ||

It is a mere uncaused existence, inherent in its vacuous state in the vacuous Mind; and what is called the world, is no more than an emptiness appertaining to the empty Intellect.
