The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.106.49

आस्वयंभुव एवेयं चिन्मात्रे भाति सर्गभाः ।
परिज्ञाता सती सा तु ब्रह्मैव भवति क्षणात् ॥ ४९ ॥

āsvayaṃbhuva eveyaṃ cinmātre bhāti sargabhāḥ |
parijñātā satī sā tu brahmaiva bhavati kṣaṇāt || 49 ||

It is the self-existent soul alone, which presents the appearance of the world in the intellect; and it is the ignorance of this truth, which has led to the general belief of the creation of the world by Brahma.
