The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वयंभ्वाख्यं शरीरं स्वं पूर्वः स्वप्नो महाचितेः ।
इत उत्थानास्तदनु स्वप्नात्स्वप्नान्तरं वयम् ॥ ८५ ॥

svayaṃbhvākhyaṃ śarīraṃ svaṃ pūrvaḥ svapno mahāciteḥ |
ita utthānāstadanu svapnātsvapnāntaraṃ vayam || 85 ||

The supreme Intellect dreams of its self-born (or uncreated) body at first; and we that have sprang from that body, have ever afterwards continued to see dream after dream to no end.
