The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जडस्य बुद्धिपूर्वेहा मरुतो नास्ति तां विना ।
न संभवत्यणुचयो नान्यत्कर्तोपपद्यते ॥ ७० ॥

jaḍasya buddhipūrvehā maruto nāsti tāṃ vinā |
na saṃbhavatyaṇucayo nānyatkartopapadyate || 70 ||

The insensible air which is composed of atoms, and has a motion of its own, is never actuated by reason or sense; nor is it possible to expect the particles of air to act wisely.
