The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वसंवेदनसंवेद्यसारा विदितवेद्यता ।
नैषा दर्शयितुं शक्या दृश्यते न च तद्विदा ॥ ३० ॥

svasaṃvedanasaṃvedyasārā viditavedyatā |
naiṣā darśayituṃ śakyā dṛśyate na ca tadvidā || 30 ||

The ineffable delight which attends on the wise man, from his conscious knowledge of the knowable; inexpressible in words, and invisible to others as to its knower also.
