The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.100.6

समस्तवेदशास्त्रार्थं ये महाप्रलयादि च ।
नेच्छन्ति ते महामूढा निःशास्त्रा नो मृता इव ॥ ६ ॥

samastavedaśāstrārthaṃ ye mahāpralayādi ca |
necchanti te mahāmūḍhā niḥśāstrā no mṛtā iva || 6 ||

He who does not acknowledge the purport of the Vedas, (that all things are produced from Brahma), and the final great dissolution (when all things are dissolved in and return to him); are known as men without a revelation and religion, and are considered as dead by us.
