The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.99.40

सा च भ्रान्तिस्तथा रूढा यथासत्यैव सत्यताम् ।
परमामागता तत्तु सत्यमत्यन्तनिर्मलम् ॥ ४० ॥

sā ca bhrāntistathā rūḍhā yathāsatyaiva satyatām |
paramāmāgatā tattu satyamatyantanirmalam || 40 ||

This error has taken possession of the mind, in the same manner as the untrue is taken for truth: while the transcendent and clear truth of the omniform soul is rejected as untrue.
