The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पूर्वात्पूर्वतरस्यास्य स्वप्नस्यावयवस्थितौ ।
सत्येवासत्यरूपायां पृथ्व्यादिकलना कृता ॥ ३९ ॥

pūrvātpūrvatarasyāsya svapnasyāvayavasthitau |
satyevāsatyarūpāyāṃ pṛthvyādikalanā kṛtā || 39 ||

The traces of prior dreams and reminiscences (of previous birth), being preserved in the memory or mind;the same things appear and reappear in it (in later births), and represent their aerial shapes as substantial figures.
