The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देशकालक्रियाद्रव्यव्यग्रया जर्जरीकृतम् ।
क्षीयते व्रणकीटानामस्माकमिव जीवितम् ॥ १० ॥

deśakālakriyādravyavyagrayā jarjarīkṛtam |
kṣīyate vraṇakīṭānāmasmākamiva jīvitam || 10 ||

The lives of filthy worms are spent like ours, in their toil and anxious care for food and provisions, at all places and times of their duration in the world.
