न नास्तिक्यान्न चास्तिक्यात्कष्टानुष्ठानवैदिकाः ।
मनोज्ञमधुराचाराः प्रियपेशलवादिनः ॥ ३ ॥

na nāstikyānna cāstikyātkaṣṭānuṣṭhānavaidikāḥ |
manojñamadhurācārāḥ priyapeśalavādinaḥ || 3 ||

He does not bother his head about theism or atheism, nor torment his body with religious austerities; he is agreeable and sweet in his demeanour, and is pleasing and genteel in his conversation.
