vṛkṣā bhavanti phalapallavajālayuktāḥ kalpadrumāstu viralāḥ khalu saṃbhavanti || 47 ||

There are living beings in multitudes, on all sides of us in this earth, but there are very few among them that are enlightened with true knowledge in them; there are unnumbered trees and forests growing all around us, and bearing their fruits and flowers and foliage to no end; but there is scarcely a kalpa tree to be found among them.
