The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.97.18

तस्मात्स्वनिश्चये यस्मिन्यः स्थितः स तथा ततः ।
अवश्यं फलमाप्नोति न चेद्बाल्यान्निवर्तते ॥ १८ ॥

tasmātsvaniścaye yasminyaḥ sthitaḥ sa tathā tataḥ |
avaśyaṃ phalamāpnoti na cedbālyānnivartate || 18 ||

Therefore let every one rely in his own belief, until he arrives to the true and spiritual knowledge of God. By doing so he will obtain the reward of his faith, and therefore he must refrain from his fickleness.
