The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.97.1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
संविन्मयत्वाज्जगतः स्वप्नस्य परमात्मनः ।
ब्रह्माकाशतया सर्वं ब्रह्मैवेत्यनुभूयते ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
saṃvinmayatvājjagataḥ svapnasya paramātmanaḥ |
brahmākāśatayā sarvaṃ brahmaivetyanubhūyate || 1 ||

Vasishtha continued:—The world which is but a vision of the supreme soul, and situated in the vacuity of the Divine mind, appears in our consciousness, as the ectype of Brahma himself.
