The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भोगाभोगः किलायं यः स जीवन्मुक्तबुद्धिना ।
कीदृशो भुज्यमानः स्यात्कीदृक्स्यान्मौर्ख्यसेविना ॥ २७ ॥

bhogābhogaḥ kilāyaṃ yaḥ sa jīvanmuktabuddhinā |
kīdṛśo bhujyamānaḥ syātkīdṛksyānmaurkhyasevinā || 27 ||

The liberated man while he lives, deems the enjoyments of his life, to be no enjoyment at all; but the ignorant person values his temporary enjoyments only, in lieu of his everlasting felicity.
