The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथ चिन्तितवानस्मि सत्यकामा इमे वयम् ।
पश्यन्तु मां सुरगणास्तेन तस्मिन्सुरालये ॥ ४ ॥

atha cintitavānasmi satyakāmā ime vayam |
paśyantu māṃ suragaṇāstena tasminsurālaye || 4 ||

I then thought in myself that, as these etherial beings are seekers of truth like ourselves; it is right they should observe me among them in their etherial abode.
