The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.94.37

शीतातपादिविहितं सुखं दुःखं विदन्ति च ।
पातुमत्तुमवष्टब्धुमीहितुं शक्नुवन्ति नो ॥ ३७ ॥

śītātapādivihitaṃ sukhaṃ duḥkhaṃ vidanti ca |
pātumattumavaṣṭabdhumīhituṃ śaknuvanti no || 37 ||

They are susceptible of feeling the pain and pleasure, occasioned by heat and cold; but they are incapable of the actions of eating, drinking, holding and supporting anything with their spiritual bodies.
