The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अन्तकः पर्यवस्थाता जीविते महतामपि ।
चलन्त्यायूंषि शाखाग्रलम्बाम्बूनीव देहिनाम् ॥ ८५ ॥

antakaḥ paryavasthātā jīvite mahatāmapi |
calantyāyūṃṣi śākhāgralambāmbūnīva dehinām || 85 ||

Say who has remained the same even among the great, to the end of his journey in this world, the lives of men are as fleeting, as the trickling dew drops at the end of the leaves of trees.
