The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सिद्ध उवाच ।
प्रतिपालय मे यावत्स्ववृत्तान्तं स्मराम्यहम् ।
कथयिष्यामि ते पश्चात्पाश्चात्यं वृत्तमात्मनः ॥ २९ ॥

siddha uvāca |
pratipālaya me yāvatsvavṛttāntaṃ smarāmyaham |
kathayiṣyāmi te paścātpāścātyaṃ vṛttamātmanaḥ || 29 ||

The sagely siddha said:—you sir, shall have to wait awhile until I can recollect myself and my former state; and then I will relate to you the latter incidents of my life.
