The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

समुत्पादयताशेषं लतातरुतृणाङ्कुरम् ।
भूतलेन रसाः कृष्टा मयार्थेनैव पुंभृताम् ॥ ५९ ॥

samutpādayatāśeṣaṃ latātarutṛṇāṅkuram |
bhūtalena rasāḥ kṛṣṭā mayārthenaiva puṃbhṛtām || 59 ||

With my earthly body, I suck the rain water and the waters of the seas;in order to supply the moisture of the moisture of trees, on account of their producing the juicy fruits, for the food of living beings.
