The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.91.28

नेत्रवृन्दस्य वक्त्रस्य द्युलतापुष्पजालकम् ।
स्वर्गौघमशकव्यूहं तारकापटलं मृदु ॥ २८ ॥

netravṛndasya vaktrasya dyulatāpuṣpajālakam |
svargaughamaśakavyūhaṃ tārakāpaṭalaṃ mṛdu || 28 ||

I beheld the twinkling stars likening to the clusters of flowers in the arbour of the skies, and delighting the eyes and faces (of their spectator); and they appeared to me as flocks of butterflies, flying in the fair field of the firmament.
