कटुकङ्कटकुट्टाकखड्गसंघट्टटांकृतैः ।
पटुस्फुटाटोपरटि भटेष्वटनमुद्भटम् ॥ २१ ॥

kaṭukaṅkaṭakuṭṭākakhaḍgasaṃghaṭṭaṭāṃkṛtaiḥ |
paṭusphuṭāṭoparaṭi bhaṭeṣvaṭanamudbhaṭam || 21 ||

It is this heat which makes the hardy and bold combatants, engage in mutual fighting with drawn and jangling swords; and clad in armours clanking on their bodies.
