The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जगतां तत्र लक्षाणि नाशोत्पातशतानि च ।
मया दृष्टानि रूढानि कदलीदलपीठवत् ॥ २९ ॥

jagatāṃ tatra lakṣāṇi nāśotpātaśatāni ca |
mayā dṛṣṭāni rūḍhāni kadalīdalapīṭhavat || 29 ||

Thus I saw thousands of worlds, and the repeated rising and fallings, like the leaves of plantain trees.
