The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चतुर्दशप्रकाराणां भूतानामङ्गसन्धिषु ।
उषितं चेतनेनेव जडेनाप्यजडात्मना ॥ २५ ॥

caturdaśaprakārāṇāṃ bhūtānāmaṅgasandhiṣu |
uṣitaṃ cetaneneva jaḍenāpyajaḍātmanā || 25 ||

Again the sentient soul abides in the form of this liquid, in the bodies and limbs of all the fourteen kinds of living bodies.
