The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

धूमरूपेण निर्गत्य दारुभ्यो गगनार्णवे ।
कणरत्नेन नीलर्क्षमण्यन्तर्वर्तिना स्थितम् ॥ १९ ॥

dhūmarūpeṇa nirgatya dārubhyo gaganārṇave |
kaṇaratnena nīlarkṣamaṇyantarvartinā sthitam || 19 ||

I saw the water rising from the earth in the form of vapour on high, and then mixing with the blue ocean of the azure sky, or appearing as blue sapphires among the twinkling stars of heaven.
