The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.89.23

भूतान्यथ भविष्यन्ति वर्तमानानि यानि च ।
भूमण्डलानि तान्यत्र सत्ता सामान्यतां गता ॥ २३ ॥

bhūtānyatha bhaviṣyanti vartamānāni yāni ca |
bhūmaṇḍalāni tānyatra sattā sāmānyatāṃ gatā || 23 ||

The beings that are existent at present, and such as are to come into existence in future; and the earth itself, are of the same nature of an universal fallacy, in lieu of the Divine spirit pervading the whole.
