The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

न्यायेनेदमिवानेन न स्थितं वसुधातलम् ।
इदं चैवैकमेवाद्यसर्गस्याद्यमुपागतम् ॥ १० ॥

nyāyenedamivānena na sthitaṃ vasudhātalam |
idaṃ caivaikamevādyasargasyādyamupāgatam || 10 ||

It is clear from this argument, that there is no such thing as the stable earth; it is of the same ideal form as it was conceived in the mind, at the first creation of the world.
