The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ततः स्वप्ननरेणेव यत्किंचिद्गदितं मया ।
तदेतद्विद्धि वाचं त्वं पश्चान्नीतां प्रथामिह ॥ ४२ ॥
tataḥ svapnanareṇeva yatkiṃcidgaditaṃ mayā |
tadetadviddhi vācaṃ tvaṃ paścānnītāṃ prathāmiha || 42 ||
Then I uttered some words as those of a sleeping person, and these words are called the vyahrites, which are now used in the Gayatri hymn.
