The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

याभ्यामपश्यं रन्ध्राभ्यां त इमे लोचने स्थिते ।
ततः किंचिच्छृणोमीति संविदित्युदिता मम ॥ २६ ॥

yābhyāmapaśyaṃ randhrābhyāṃ ta ime locane sthite |
tataḥ kiṃcicchṛṇomīti saṃvidityuditā mama || 26 ||

The organs wherewith I saw and felt the world in me, are these two eyes—the keys to the visible world; then I felt the desire of hearing, what was going about me, and it was my own soul, which prompted this desire in me.
