The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कल्प्यमानर्क्षचन्द्रार्कदिनरात्र्यृतुवत्सरम् ।
क्वचित्क्वचिन्महीपीठसंपन्नजनमण्डलम् ॥ २४ ॥

kalpyamānarkṣacandrārkadinarātryṛtuvatsaram |
kvacitkvacinmahīpīṭhasaṃpannajanamaṇḍalam || 24 ||

I then beheld his arrangement of the starry frame, and the spheres of the sun and moon; as also the rotations of days and nights, and of the seasons and years; and I saw likewise the surface of the earth, with its population here and there.
