The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.85.12

एक एवाभवदथो शिवया परिवर्जितः ।
शिव एव शिवः शान्त आकाशे शमनोऽभितः ॥ १२ ॥

eka evābhavadatho śivayā parivarjitaḥ |
śiva eva śivaḥ śānta ākāśe śamano'bhitaḥ || 12 ||

She then became as one with Siva, by giving up her title of sivaship; and this Siva—the female form became the same with Siva—the prime male, who is of the form of formless void and perfect tranquillity.
